about us
Our Story
The Edge is a “business as ministry” outreach of Destiny Church. Instead of building or buying a traditional church structure, we chose a different way to serve our community. We call it, “Intersecting culture by redeeming secular space.”
Our facility serves the community through the platforms of sports and art programming. It also serves our congregation as a place of worship, fellowship and ministry programs. Seven days a week we open our doors to all people. You’re welcome here!
our Approach
Offer youth development and community transformation through passionate people, holistic programming, strategic partnerships and a communal place.
PASSIONATE PEOPLE
Deploying skilled staff and volunteers who are excited about their respective disciplines, love people, and love God.
HOLISTIC PROGRAMMING
Designing programs in sports and the arts that improve participants’ skills, cultivate their character and contribute to the world.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPs
Choosing strong programming partners that both align with and enhance our vision, mission and values.
COMMUNAL PLACe
Providing facilities and related services that enable families and the community to interact together. A home away from home.
Our vision
Is to intersect culture by redeeming secular space with the goal of engaging the 155,000 people in our tri-county area with repeated opportunities to see, hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ. We aim to help build better families by providing activities and services that meet the holistic needs of the families within our surrounding communities.
